THE WEATHERMAN WHO WAS ALWAYS CORRECT

For 10 years I had the good fortune of working with the former director of the National Hurricane Center and Chief Meteorologist at KHOU, Dr. Neil Frank. When it came to weather forecasting he was always correct. Several times a week I would hound him with questions… “Doc, is it gonna rain today? Doc is it gonna storm tomorrow? Doc, Do you think there will be tornadoes this weekend in Kansas?” He’d just glance at the data charts, look back at you with 45 plus years of wisdom in the field, smile and say “Maybe, maybe not.”
